<p>A few things I did differently:</p>
<ul>
<li>I started in Illustrator and created some 3D text. From there, I saved and imported my text file into Photoshop as a PDF.</li>
<li>Make sure to save your gradients and brushes as you go. You will always use them at a later time.</li>
<li>I mixed up the color schemes when it came to the gradients.</li>
<li>Seeing as I used 3D text for my lettering, I added an inner glow to show its depth. I also used the the burn tool to emphasize the shadows between the letters. If you have the patience, you can import each letter individually. This will give you a greater illusion of depth and shadow.</li>
